Tiller Extension

This is about the only thing I installed exactly as the instructions told me to. Not much for me to "alter" here. The "lock box" for self-steering is at the maximum extension of the tiller extender that I bought. It is really close (scary, since I didn't check that before cutting) to not even being able to keep the tiller on center.
 
This so-called self steering setup will do so for about 2 to 3 minutes at a time provided:
a) you sit still
b) you spent the previous 2 to 3 minutes playing with the sail trim.
 
 
It is still worth having, though. I works somewhat better with the O/B, and is very handy for taming the rudder movement while at anchor.
